Lighting Analyst

Job Summary:

The Lighting Analyst will work alongside the Project Development Engineer/Lighting Designer to develop lighting improvements. This includes conducting lighting surveys, performing energy analysis, evaluating rebates, other incentives and modeling lighting systems.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for organizing, arranging, and conducting lighting surveys for potential customers (recording fixture types, quantities, and other lighting specific details)
  • Calculates energy use, maintenance savings, utility savings and rebate amounts
  • Fills out, submits, and handles all incentive/rebate documentation
  • Utilizes energy audit software and/or building plans for lighting audits
  • Records and evaluates interior and exterior light levels and other characteristics
  • Responsible for lighting project record upkeep including paper and electronic filing.
  • Additional duties as needed

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor of Science
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Must have intermediate-advanced Microsoft Office skills (Microsoft Excel)
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Some Travel may be required


  • Pay Range $40-45k annually based on experience
  • Paid Travel, Lodging and Per Diem when traveling
